Our partner associations

In Vietnam, PdV relies on two major supports:

• The Catholic Committee facilitates the relations of humanitarian associations with local authorities such as People Committees and the police.

• LesAmis des enfants de la rue is an association that has helped thousands of children in the past 20 years and generously shares its experience with PdV

Funding for this website comes mostly from the following partners and friends:

• Fraternité chrétienne, our first support (moral and financial) sinceOctober 2002.

• Smile4Life, a Belgian association created by Paul de Gheldère, financed the renovation of the Catholique Committee premises and the acquisition of our first 6 computers as well as the running budget of the association from March 2004 to April 2005.

• CAP Sud, donations funded the acquisition of a digital camera and a scanner as well as books and games for children

• The International Choir of HCMC has existed since 1995 and is composed of Vietnamese and foreign singers who meet every week to sing classical pieces. Every year, the Choir gives out two performances with the HCMC Symphonic orchestra and Ballet whose profits are donated to 2 selected charities. Since 2006, PdV has been one them.

• Lueur d'Orient has supported PdV alphabetization classes for disadvantaged children at the PointCom of Tu Xuong and Phan Huy Ich.

• PAX : financial support

• AVE : a French association helping disadvantaged children in Vietnam for over 10 years

• Forum Rural : a Spanish association has contributed funds for the creation of the PointCom in Phan Huy Ich street.
